He Was Just A Boy

He Was Just A Boy

He was just a boy.
A typical little boy and you took him away.
He road his bike and met you that hot Summer day.
It was then you decided to take him.
You can be very rough yet very serene.
I never thought you could be so mean.
You enticed him with your big foamy wave.
It was his life to you he gave.
Your serene sounds can soothe a babe to sleep but,
that day, you chose this one To keep.
He was just a boy on a hot summer day.
He ran to your arms and you took him away.
He could not swim, he could not survive.
Had he learned, he may still be alive.
He was just a boy looking for fun.
A mother cries now that you took her son.
